Live Casino Guide
A live casino streams real dealers, cards, wheels and dice from a studio to your screen. You place bets through an on-screen interface during a timed betting window, and the result is decided by the physical game in the studio. Live casinos offer two kinds of product: classic tables (blackjack, roulette, baccarat, poker, craps, Sic Bo) with the same maths as their land-based versions, and game shows, which add presenters, money wheels, multipliers and animated bonus rounds.
Most live content in online casinos comes from Evolution, with Pragmatic Play Live and Ezugi (part of the Evolution group) also common. This guide compares the main game shows, summarises the table games and links to our detailed page on each.

Game Shows Compared
| Game | Wheel / format | Bet spots | Best listed RTP | Lowest listed RTP | Bonus frequency |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dream Catcher | 54 segments | 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 40 | 96.58% (10) | 90.81% (40) | 2x/7x re-spins on 3.7% of spins |
| MONOPOLY Live | 54 segments | 1, 2, 5, 10, 2 Rolls, 4 Rolls | 96.23% | About 91.30% | Bonus on 7.4% of spins |
| Crazy Time | 54 segments + Top Slot | 1, 2, 5, 10, 4 bonuses | 96.08% (1) | 94.33% (Pachinko) | Bonus on 16.7% of spins |

| Deal or No Deal Live | Qualifier + 16 briefcases | Qualifier and Top Up | About 95.42% | — | Every qualified round |
Three points follow from the table:
- The best bet in each show is the one to compare. Dream Catcher’s 10 (96.58%) returns more than any Crazy Time or Funky Time bet.
- Bonus-heavy bets cost more. In Crazy Time, the bonus spots return 94.33% to 95.70%, below the number 1’s 96.08%.
- All game shows return less than the main bets at classic tables. European roulette returns 97.30% on every bet, and blackjack with basic strategy about 99.5%.

How Live Games Differ From RNG Games
- Pace: live rounds take 30 seconds to several minutes; RNG games resolve instantly. Fewer rounds per hour means a lower total stake per hour at the same bet size.
- Timers: you must bet and decide within a set window, so decisions should be prepared in advance.
- Shared results: everyone at a table or show sees the same result. In unlimited-seat blackjack, everyone receives the same cards.
- Bonuses: live games usually contribute 0% to 10% towards wagering requirements, and some casinos exclude them.
Where to Play Live Casino Games
The casinos below accept Australian players and list Evolution in their software, so they carry the game shows and tables described in this guide. Operators choose which Evolution titles to offer, so check the live lobby for a specific game before depositing.
For a wider comparison, see our live dealer casinos list. Under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001, online casino services, including live dealer games, may not be provided to people in Australia, so these games are only available to Australians through offshore operators.
