Crazy Time
Crazy Time is a live game show from Evolution, launched in 2020. A presenter spins a large money wheel with 54 segments. You bet on which segment the wheel will stop on: one of four numbers or one of four bonus games. Before each spin, a two-reel Top Slot can attach a multiplier to one bet spot. This page sets out the wheel layout, the odds and RTP of each bet, and how each bonus game works.
The Wheel
| Segment | Number on wheel | Probability per spin | Pays |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 21 | 38.89% | 1 to 1 |
| 2 | 13 | 24.07% | 2 to 1 |
| 5 | 7 | 12.96% | 5 to 1 |
| 10 | 4 | 7.41% | 10 to 1 |
| Coin Flip | 4 | 7.41% | Bonus game |
| Pachinko | 2 | 3.70% | Bonus game |
| Cash Hunt | 2 | 3.70% | Bonus game |
| Crazy Time | 1 | 1.85% | Bonus game |
Bonus segments make up 9 of 54 positions, so a bonus game is triggered on 16.7% of spins (about one spin in six). The Crazy Time bonus itself lands on average once every 54 spins.

How a Round Works
- Betting window. You place chips on any of the eight bet spots. You only take part in a bonus game if you have a bet on that bonus.
- Top Slot. Two reels spin. The left reel lands on one of the eight bet spots; the right reel lands on a multiplier (from 2x to 50x) or misses. If both line up, that bet spot carries the multiplier for this spin.
- Wheel spin. The presenter spins the wheel. If it stops on a number, bets on that number win at the listed odds (multiplied if the Top Slot selected it). Other bets lose.
- Bonus game. If it stops on a bonus segment, players with a bet on that bonus play the game. A Top Slot multiplier on that bonus applies to all its results.
Example: A$2 on number 5. The Top Slot shows 5 with a 10x multiplier. The wheel stops on 5. The bet pays 5 to 1 × 10 = 50 to 1, for A$100 profit plus the A$2 stake.
RTP by Bet Spot
Each bet spot has its own theoretical return. The figures below are those listed in the game’s rules (help screen); they are long-run averages that include Top Slot multipliers and bonus results.
| Bet spot | RTP | House edge |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 96.08% | 3.92% |
| 2 | 95.95% | 4.05% |
| 5 | 95.78% | 4.22% |
| 10 | 95.73% | 4.27% |
| Coin Flip | 95.70% | 4.30% |
| Cash Hunt | 95.27% | 4.73% |
| Crazy Time | 94.41% | 5.59% |
| Pachinko | 94.33% | 5.67% |
The highest RTP is on number 1 (96.08%), which also has the lowest variance. Bonus bets have lower RTPs and far higher variance: most spins return nothing, and their value is concentrated in occasional large bonus results. Casinos may run versions with different settings; always confirm the figures in the help screen at your casino.
The Four Bonus Games
Coin Flip
A two-sided coin (red and blue) receives a random multiplier on each side. The coin is flipped mechanically, and the side facing up decides the payout. One side generally receives a lower multiplier and the other a higher one, so the result is a 50/50 choice between a small and a larger win.
Cash Hunt
A screen of 108 hidden multipliers is shown, then the multipliers are shuffled and covered by symbols. Each player chooses a target with a cannon before the timer ends. Every player can pick a different target, so players in the same round get different results.
Pachinko
A puck is dropped from the top of a pegboard wall and bounces into one of 16 slots at the bottom, each showing a multiplier. If it lands on DOUBLE, all multipliers on the board double and the puck is dropped again. Repeated doubles can produce the largest multipliers in the game.
Crazy Time
The presenter goes through a red door to a separate, larger wheel with 64 segments. Before it spins, each player chooses one of three flappers (green, blue or yellow). The wheel stops and each flapper points at a result: a multiplier, DOUBLE or TRIPLE. DOUBLE or TRIPLE multiplies every value on the wheel and spins again. Your payout depends on the flapper you chose.
Every bonus has a maximum payout cap set in the game rules, and the casino may set its own maximum win per round. Check both before betting large amounts on bonus spots.
Variance: What to Expect
| Strategy | Spins with a win | Character |
|---|---|---|
| Number 1 only | 38.9% | Frequent small returns; you lose 61% of spins |
| All four numbers | 83.3% | Frequent wins, but the losses on uncovered numbers add up |
| All four bonuses | 16.7% | Most spins lose everything; rare large results |
| Everything covered | 100% | Something wins every spin, but your total stake is always larger than most wins |
Covering more spots increases how often you win, not your expected return. With all eight spots covered, your expected loss per spin is the sum of the edges on each bet (between 3.92% and 5.67% of each stake).
Practical Points for Australian Players
- Betting windows are short, typically around 15 seconds. Set your chip layout before the window opens; most interfaces have a “repeat” or “double” button.
- Minimum and maximum bets are set by each casino and shown on the table. Covering all eight spots multiplies the minimum by eight.
- Time zones: the game runs 24/7 from Evolution’s studio, so presenters and peak times do not depend on Australian hours.
- Bonus wagering: live game shows usually contribute 0% to 10% towards wagering requirements. Check the casino’s game weighting.
- Statistics sites that list past results show history only. Each spin is independent; see the gambler’s fallacy.
Crazy Time is available at casinos with an Evolution lobby, such as MORI WIN and Cosmobet; our Evolution casinos list compares more. For other money-wheel shows, see Monopoly Live, Dream Catcher and Funky Time. All live games are listed in the live casino guide.
