Bonanza Billion
Bonanza Billion is a BGaming fruit slot built on a 6×5 grid where symbols pay anywhere. There are no paylines and no wild: any 8 or more matching symbols on screen form a win, winning symbols are removed and the grid refills from above until no new win appears. In free spins, multiplier symbols worth x2 to x100 land on the grid and are added together at the end of each refill sequence.
The demo build checked for this review lists a 98.21% RTP, with 97.98% for the Buy Bonus and 98.08% for Chance x2, and a maximum win of 15,000x the bet. BGaming’s own catalogue page shows 95.97%, which indicates that more than one RTP configuration exists. Below we cover the paytable, the scatter rules, how multipliers combine, both buy options and what the Bonanza Billion demo can and cannot tell you.

How Bonanza Billion Works
After each spin the game counts identical symbols anywhere on the 30 positions. Eight or nine, ten or eleven, and twelve or more matching symbols pay at three increasing tiers. All wins on a spin are paid, the winning symbols disappear, the rest fall down and new symbols fill the gaps. There is no limit on the number of refills, and the total is credited once the sequence ends.
BGaming’s figures put the hit rate at about one win every 2.6 spins. Many of those wins are small fruit clusters that pay less than the stake.
Two details matter when reading results. First, each symbol type is counted separately, so 8 lemons and 8 plums on the same screen are two wins paid at the same time. Second, winning symbols are removed before the refill, so each refill is counted fresh from what is left on screen plus the new symbols; a paid cluster cannot grow into a higher tier on the next step. Scatter wins in the base game are added to cluster wins from the same spin.
Paytable
The four gem-style symbols pay the most. Converted from the demo paytable at a 0.20 bet, 12 or more green gems pay 50x the bet, blue gems 25x, stars 15x and red hearts 12x. For 10 to 11 symbols the same four pay 25x, 10x, 5x and 2x.
The fruit symbols are lower: 12 or more watermelons pay 10x, plums 8x, lemons 5x, oranges 4x and cherries 2x. At the 8 to 9 tier the fruits pay between 0.25x (cherries) and 1x (watermelons).

Scatters and Free Spins
The rainbow clover is the scatter and can land on all reels. In the base game it pays in any position: 4 scatters pay 3x the bet, 5 pay 5x and 6 pay 100x. Scatters also start free spins: 4 scatters award 10 free spins, 5 award 20 and 6 award 30. During the round, scatters no longer pay; instead 3 or more add 5 extra free spins.

BGaming lists the average free spins frequency at roughly one trigger in 395 spins. That is a long gap, which is the main reason the game can feel quiet between bonus rounds even though base game hits are frequent.
Multipliers in Free Spins
Multiplier symbols only appear during free spins. Each one takes a random value from x2 to x100 and stays on the grid until the refill sequence ends. At that point all multipliers on screen are added together and the total is applied to the win of the whole sequence. The screenshot below shows x2, x8 and x12 combining into x22 on a 0.35 win.

Multipliers do not carry over between spins and have no effect on a sequence without a win. The round’s final result therefore depends on multipliers landing in the same sequence as a decent cluster win. Because a multiplier stays on the grid through every refill of its sequence, a long refill chain gives more chances for further multipliers to drop in and join the sum before it is applied. The round in our demo test paid 65x the bet in total, with most of that coming from a single x22 sequence.
Buy Bonus and Chance x2
Buy Bonus costs 100x the current bet (20 at a 0.20 stake) and the next spin triggers the free spins round. Chance x2 adds 25% to each spin (0.05 at 0.20, 4.00 at 16) to improve the odds of landing scatters naturally. The two features cannot be active together.

RTP Versions and Volatility
The rules in BGaming’s demo state an overall RTP of 98.21%, 97.98% for Buy Bonus and 98.08% for Chance x2. BGaming’s game page lists 95.97%. The gameplay is identical across versions, so the only reliable check is the RTP line in the rules of the game you are actually playing. Over thousands of spins, a gap of more than two percentage points has a clear effect on expected losses.

BGaming labels the volatility as “low-high”. In practice, frequent small cluster wins sit alongside a rare bonus with uncapped multiplier sums, so session results vary widely.
Worked Example: Multiplier Sequence
At a A$1 bet in free spins, a spin lands 10 blue gems for 10x (A$10). The refill adds 8 cherries for 0.25x (A$0.25), then the sequence ends. Two multipliers landed during the sequence, x5 and x20. Their sum, x25, is applied to the A$10.25 sequence total, giving A$256.25. If no multiplier had landed, the same sequence would have paid A$10.25.
