AstroPay at Online Casinos for Australians
AstroPay is a digital wallet with virtual and physical cards, originally built for Latin American markets and now offered in Europe and elsewhere. Australia appears in AstroPay’s country selector, but the company publishes no Australian fee schedule and its listed multicurrency balances (ARS, BRL, CLP, COP, EUR, PEN, USDT, GBP, USD, UYU) don’t include AUD. Five casinos reviewed on BetsAuthority accept AstroPay deposits; none lists it for withdrawals. For most Australians it is a niche option with currency-conversion costs.
Casinos That Accept AstroPay
These five reviewed casinos list AstroPay in their deposit terms and accept Australian players. Deposits only: plan to withdraw by another method.
| Casino | Casino-side deposit fee | Fastest payout route listed |
|---|---|---|
| CosmoBet | None listed | Crypto, listed as instant |
| Playfina | None | Crypto, about 1 hour after approval |
| Spin Samurai | None (casino side) | Crypto and e-wallets, 0 to 24 hours |
| Zoome | None | Crypto and e-wallets after approval |
| GunsBet | 2.5% on some methods, including AstroPay | E-wallets, instant after approval |
How AstroPay Works
AstroPay has two products that casinos may label the same way:
- AstroPay Wallet. An app-based account you top up, then use to pay merchants, send money or withdraw to a bank. At a casino you log in to AstroPay or confirm in the app.
- AstroPay Card. A virtual or physical card linked to the wallet balance. Where the casino accepts cards, it may be used like a prepaid card.
Older AstroPay prepaid “cards” bought as single-use codes are sold by some resellers in AUD. Reseller listings note that AUD codes redeem only to accounts registered with an Australian address and +61 phone number; AstroPay itself doesn’t publish this, so treat it as unconfirmed.
Costs for Australian Users
AstroPay’s help centre says fees vary by country and top-up method and are shown in the app before you confirm. For an Australian the main costs typically come from conversion:
| Step | Possible cost |
|---|---|
| Top-up from an Australian card or bank | Top-up fee (varies by method and country); conversion from A$ into a supported wallet currency such as USD |
| Exchange inside the wallet | FX spread plus any explicit conversion fee; quotes are valid for a few seconds |
| Casino deposit | Usually free; GunsBet lists 2.5% on AstroPay |
| Casino balance currency | Second conversion if the casino account is in AUD and the wallet pays in USD or EUR |
| Withdrawal from AstroPay to a bank | Paid in your local currency; cross-border transfers take minutes to 72 business hours and may involve conversion |
Two conversions on a A$200 deposit can cost several dollars before any play. Compare that with methods that settle in A$, such as PayID or an AUD Neosurf voucher. Our deposit fees guide sets out where conversion charges hide.

How to Deposit With AstroPay
- Install the AstroPay app and check whether account creation and top-ups are offered for your Australian phone number. Features vary by country.
- Complete AstroPay’s own verification. Limits depend on your verification level.
- Top up the wallet and note the currency and fee shown before confirming.
- In the casino cashier, choose AstroPay, enter the amount and confirm in the app or on the AstroPay page.
- Check the credited amount against what left the wallet, so you know the real conversion cost.
Withdrawals
None of the five casinos lists AstroPay as a withdrawal method. Winnings go out by another route after identity checks, which usually includes proof that you own the deposit method. A screenshot of the AstroPay account showing your name and the transaction is the usual evidence. Our KYC verification guide explains the full process.
All five list crypto, Skrill and Neteller for withdrawals. Playfina, Spin Samurai and Zoome also list MiFinity; CosmoBet adds Mastercard and SEPA/SWIFT bank transfers. If speed matters, see the fast withdrawals guide.
Withdrawal minimums and caps at the five casinos, as stored in our reviews:
| Casino | Minimum withdrawal | Published limits |
|---|---|---|
| CosmoBet | Not specified | A$12,000 per week, A$24,000 per month |
| Playfina | A$20 | A$3,000/day, A$7,500/week, A$30,000/month |
| Spin Samurai | €20 | Monthly cap of €15,000 reported |
| Zoome | A$75 | A$1,500/day, A$7,500/week, A$15,000/month |
| GunsBet | A$30 | €2,000/day, €5,000/week, €20,000/month |
Limits quoted in euros move with the exchange rate, so the A$ equivalent changes from week to week. A balance above the weekly cap is paid in several instalments; our withdrawal limits guide explains how casinos schedule them.
