Solana (SOL) Casino Payments in Australia
Solana (SOL) is a high-throughput blockchain with blocks produced roughly every 400 milliseconds and a base fee of 0.000005 SOL per signature. For casino payments that means confirmation in seconds and fees well under a cent. Acceptance is the limitation: only four of the casinos reviewed on BetsAuthority list SOL in their payment terms. This page covers those casinos, how SOL and Solana-based stablecoin deposits work, and the points where Solana payments differ from Bitcoin or Ethereum.
Casinos That Accept Solana
Mori Win, Bizzo, HellSpin and National Casino list SOL for both deposits and withdrawals in our stored payment terms. That is fewer than the five we normally show, so the table contains all four.
| Casino | Minimum deposit (stored) | Stated crypto withdrawal time | Published withdrawal caps |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mori Win | US$6 | Not published in our data | Not published in our data |
| Bizzo | A$20 | Instant to 24 hours | €4,000/day, €16,000/week, €50,000/month |
| HellSpin | A$10 | 0 to 48 hours | €4,000/day, €16,000/week, €50,000/month |
| National Casino | A$20 | Usually within hours (up to 72) | €4,000/day, €16,000/week, €50,000/month |

Deposit Steps
- Buy SOL with A$ on an Australian exchange registered with AUSTRAC, or hold it in a Solana wallet.
- In the cashier, choose SOL and copy the deposit address. Solana addresses have no “0x” or letter prefix, so check the first and last characters after pasting.
- On the exchange, select the Solana network. Don’t choose “SOL (BEP-20)” or another wrapped version.
- Send at least the minimum after fees. The transaction confirms in seconds.
Screens for a typical crypto cashier are in our crypto deposit guide.

SOL vs Stablecoins on Solana
USDC and USDT both run on Solana as SPL tokens, with the same low fees and fast confirmation. A stablecoin removes SOL’s price risk. Two conditions apply:
- The cashier must list the token on the Solana network specifically. A casino that accepts SOL and USDT may only accept USDT on Tron or Ethereum. See our USDT network guide.
- A self-custody wallet sending SPL tokens still needs a small SOL balance to pay the fee. The first transfer of a token to a new address may also need about 0.002 SOL to open a token account for the recipient.
Things That Differ on Solana
- Network outages. Solana has had several network-wide halts since 2021, the most recent major one in February 2024 lasting about five hours. During a halt, deposits and withdrawals pause until the network restarts.
- Priority fees. When demand spikes, transactions without a priority fee can be dropped and need resending. Wallets usually add a small priority fee automatically.
- Token accounts. If you withdraw a stablecoin to a new personal wallet, its token account may need to be created first. Exchanges handle this automatically.
- No memo for most casinos. Unlike XRP, Solana deposit addresses are usually unique to your account, so no tag is needed. If the cashier shows a memo field, fill it in.
Common Solana Deposit Errors
- Sending a token to a SOL-only address. If the cashier gave you a SOL address, send SOL. A USDC or USDT transfer to the same address may arrive on-chain but not be credited.
- Emptying a self-custody wallet. Solana accounts must keep a small rent-exempt balance (under 0.001 SOL for a plain wallet). Wallets block sends that would leave less, so a “send max” may stop short of the full balance.
- Bridged SOL. “SOL” on BNB Smart Chain or Ethereum is a wrapped token with a “0x” address. It is not accepted at a native Solana address.
- Dropped transaction. In congestion, a transaction that never confirms is discarded rather than left pending. Check the transaction signature on a Solana explorer; if it isn’t found, the SOL never left your wallet and you can resend.
Getting SOL from Australian Dollars
Most large Australian exchanges list SOL and allow withdrawals on the Solana network. The cost of a deposit is mainly the buy fee or spread (commonly 0.1% to 1%) and the exchange’s fixed SOL withdrawal fee; the on-chain fee is negligible. On the way out, selling SOL for A$ incurs the spread again. Exchanges registered with AUSTRAC must verify your identity and may review transfers to gambling services, which can delay the first deposit. Players who prefer to avoid that step use a self-custody wallet such as a Solana-compatible mobile wallet.
Withdrawing SOL
Complete identity checks before your first request (see KYC verification). Enter a Solana-network address that you control or that your exchange lists for SOL deposits. Network time is seconds; the stated processing times in the table above are what determine when the coins arrive. All three casinos with published caps apply €4,000 per day, so larger balances are paid over several days; see withdrawal limits. Our crypto withdrawal guide covers the steps.
Price Risk and Tax
SOL is volatile, and a balance held in SOL changes in A$ value as the market moves. The ATO treats crypto as a CGT asset: selling, swapping or spending SOL is a disposal, so depositing SOL that has risen since purchase can create a capital gain. Recreational gambling winnings are generally not taxed; see our gambling tax page.
Solana vs Other Coins
| Coin | Reviewed casinos listing it | Settlement | Fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solana | 4 | Seconds | Fraction of a cent |
| XRP | 15 (as a supported coin) | 3 to 5 seconds | Fraction of a cent |
| Litecoin | 34 | 2.5-minute blocks | Fraction of a cent |
| Bitcoin | 41 | 10-minute blocks | Cents to several A$ |
With only four casinos, SOL is a niche option. If you need wider choice with similar costs, Litecoin or USDT on Tron reach far more cashiers. The crypto casino list and the payments hub compare alternatives.
