EGT (Amusnet) Slots: Games, Jackpots and Features

EGT (Euro Games Technology) was founded in Sofia, Bulgaria, in 2002. Its online games division, EGT Interactive, renamed itself Amusnet Interactive in June 2022, so the same EGT slots now often appear under the Amusnet name. The catalogue includes 240+ slots, among them 40 Super Hot, 20 Burning Hot and Shining Crown, plus the four-level Jackpot Cards mystery jackpot.
EGT and Amusnet: who makes these games
Euro Games Technology Ltd was founded in Sofia in 2002 and grew into one of Europe’s larger land-based slot machine manufacturers. Its online arm was EGT Interactive. In June 2022, EGT Interactive rebranded as Amusnet Interactive and moved into larger offices in Sofia. The company said it would keep supplying the “emblematic EGT Interactive slots” under the new name. That is why one casino lists the games as EGT, another as Amusnet, and a third as EGT Interactive. They are the same catalogue. EGT itself still builds land-based cabinets and digital products under the EGT brand.

What EGT slots play like
The online library is mostly direct conversions of EGT cabinet games. They are 5-reel, fixed-line games with 5, 10, 20 or 40 lines and fruit, seven, bell and star symbols. Bonus rounds are rare. Most of the action comes from stacked or expanding wilds, scatter pays and the gamble feature:
- Hot series. 20 Super Hot, 40 Super Hot, 20 Burning Hot and Flaming Hot (including a 6-reel version) are classic fruit games where the whole return comes from line and scatter wins.
- Gamble. After a win you can guess red or black on a face-down card to double it. It is optional and raises variance.
- Jackpot Cards. EGT’s signature mystery jackpot runs alongside the game. When triggered, you pick cards until three of one suit match. The suit decides which of the four levels you win, with one level per suit; the current value of each level is shown on the jackpot meter. The jackpot is linked across games at the casino and is funded by a share of stakes.
- Newer video slots such as Dark Queen, Great Empire, Fortune Spells and Dragon Reels add free spins and multipliers but keep the cabinet-style layout.
RTP and volatility
EGT/Amusnet games are supplied in more than one RTP configuration, and the version depends on the market and operator. Classic fruit titles without a bonus round have medium variance and frequent small line wins. Titles with expanding wilds or free spins are higher variance. Because Jackpot Cards is funded from stakes, part of the theoretical return on participating games sits in a jackpot that few players will hit. Check the paytable at your casino for the base-game RTP, using our RTP check walkthrough, and see how progressive and mystery jackpots work.

Licensing and fairness
An MGA Critical Gaming Supply licence, valid to 2034, covers the supplier, not the casino. Offshore casinos that accept Australians typically hold Curaçao or Anjouan licences, which set the complaint route; see offshore casinos and Australians. EGT games themselves are certified by accredited test laboratories before supply into regulated markets.
Can Australians play EGT demos?
Often not. Slot databases mark Amusnet as not authorised for the Australian region, and supplier-hosted demos are commonly blocked for Australian IP addresses. This follows the Interactive Gambling Act 2001, which prohibits online casino services to Australians. Some offshore casinos still show EGT games to Australian accounts, but availability changes and the games can disappear from AU lobbies without notice. See our demo play guide.
Where to play EGT
Reviewed casinos with EGT games are listed on casinos with EGT games; at the time of writing that is Cosmobet.
