Fire Joker
Fire Joker is a three-reel, five-line slot from Play’n GO, released on 13 June 2016 as the third game in its Joker series. It is built like a classic fruit machine: three symbols on a line win, the joker is a wild, and there are no free spins. Two features add variety: the Respin of Fire, which gives a second chance after a near miss, and the Wheel of Multipliers, which multiplies a full-screen win by up to x10.
This review lists the full paytable, shows how the two features trigger and how the 800x maximum is reached, and explains the RTP. Values come from the in-game paytable and the official rules, which give an average RTP of 96.15%. The Fire Joker demo on this page runs the same game with play credits.

How Fire Joker Works
The game has three reels with three rows and five fixed lines: the three horizontal rows and the two diagonals. Three matching symbols on a line pay from left to right, and only the highest win per line is counted. The stake is chosen from preset steps between 0.05 and 100, and it is split evenly across the five lines, so the line bet is one fifth of the total bet.
Pays for three of a kind, as a multiple of the line bet and of the total bet:
| Symbol | x line bet | x total bet |
|---|---|---|
| Fire Joker (wild) | 80 | 16 |
| Red 7 | 25 | 5 |
| Gold star | 20 | 4 |
| BAR | 15 | 3 |
| Plum | 7 | 1.4 |
| Grapes | 6 | 1.2 |
| Lemon | 5 | 1 |
| Cherries | 4 | 0.8 |
| Blue X | 2 | 0.4 |

The Fire Joker can land in any position on all three reels and substitutes for every other symbol. Three jokers on a line pay the top prize of 80x the line bet.

Respin of Fire
If two reels are each filled with a stack of the same symbol and the spin has no winning line, the Respin of Fire triggers. The two stacked reels stay in place and the third reel spins once more for free. If two different pairs of reels could qualify, the game keeps the pair with the bigger potential reward. A joker stack counts as a full stack, because jokers are wild; the respin below kept a stack of X symbols and a stack of jokers.

The respin does not guarantee a win. The third reel needs at least one matching symbol or joker on a line to pay, and only a full stack of the matching symbol or jokers fills the screen for the wheel.
Wheel of Multipliers
When all nine positions show the same symbol (jokers count as that symbol), the Wheel of Multipliers appears. One spin of the wheel multiplies the total win by x2, x3, x4, x5 or x10; most segments show the lower values. A full screen pays all five lines at once, so the base win is already five times the three-of-a-kind line pay.

In the example below the reels showed X symbols with a reel of jokers. Each of the five lines paid 0.40 (2x the 0.20 line bet), a total of 2.00, and the wheel landed on x2 for a final 4.00 on a 1.00 bet.

How the 800x Maximum Is Reached
The cap follows directly from the paytable. Nine jokers pay 80x the line bet on each of the five lines, 400x the line bet, which is 80x the total bet. The x10 wheel segment turns that into 800x. At A$1 per spin that is A$800; at the 100 maximum stake it is 80,000. Every other symbol produces a smaller full-screen win: nine red 7s pay 25x the total bet before the wheel, and nine blue X symbols pay 2x.
Worked Example: A Respin on Red 7s
Take a A$2 bet, so each of the five lines carries A$0.40. Reels 1 and 2 land as full stacks of red 7s, and reel 3 shows no 7 or joker, so the spin pays nothing and the Respin of Fire starts. Reel 3 spins again while the two 7 stacks stay in place. The possible outcomes:
- No 7 or joker on reel 3: the respin pays nothing.
- One 7 or joker in a row: every line passing through that position pays 25x the line bet. On reel 3 the middle position belongs only to the middle row, so it pays A$10; the top and bottom positions each end a row and a diagonal, so they pay A$20.
- A full stack of 7s or jokers on reel 3: all five lines pay A$10 each, A$50 in total, and the Wheel of Multipliers turns that into A$100 to A$500.
The same logic applies to any symbol. Respins on high symbols such as 7s, stars and BARs are worth more than respins on fruit or X symbols, but every respin outcome is still decided at random.
How Often the Features Appear
Play’n GO does not publish trigger frequencies for either feature. In the short demo session used for the screenshots on this page, several Respins of Fire and one Wheel of Multipliers appeared within the first few dozen spins, which shows that both features belong to the base game rather than being rare bonuses. Results vary from session to session, so treat this only as an indication of pace.
RTP and Volatility
The official rules state an average RTP of 96.15%. Play’n GO also offers lower RTP settings to operators, so look for the RTP line in your casino’s game rules. Volatility is not published in the rules. With an 800x cap, frequent small line wins and features that trigger in the base game, Fire Joker is usually classed as medium volatility, lower than slots such as Book of Dead.

Bankroll Tips for Fire Joker
- Many wins are below the stake: three cherries return 0.8x and three X symbols 0.4x the total bet.
- The top prize is 800x, so stakes can be sized for steady play rather than chasing a rare large hit.
- Every spin is independent; a Respin of Fire does not make the next spin more likely to hit the wheel.
- Use Auto Play stop conditions and casino deposit limits to control a session.
